Our Mission is simple: Support for Our Kids and Each Other

NC #1 began as a group of Army Moms some 9 years ago. The group banded together long before 9/11 or Afghanistan or Iraq. We came together through the Internet in a support group for moms with kids on active duty in the US Army. In May, 2002, a small band of the group traveled to Washington DC, for Memorial Day weekend. While there, we met and were welcomed by the National Officers of the Blue Star Mothers. They took us under their wings and showed us that we would make it through this life as a Military Mom.
